Jay Lovett's sophomore effort is a moody, and reflective testament to someone stuck in one way infatuation. The nearing eight minute opener "Crashing" sets the tone with blaring bass drums and jumpy throwback drum patterns over ghostly guitar playing; while tracks like "End" and "Burning" highlight some of the projects more dark dance-able moments. While across eleven tracks no two are identical, the project still finds its niche in blurring them all together in one fever dream haze of a long player.
